Molecular Biology

I’m a PhD candidate in Molecular and Cell Biology at UC Berkeley. I love all the weird ways in which genes are regulated. How did all these different types of regulation evolve and what does that mean for cells today? This has led me to study cancer cells, stem cells, and even some strange organisms called ciliates. Currently, I study RNA splicing through a combination of experiments and mathematical models.
